Boosting spintronics with superconductivity

Spintronics aims to utilize the spin degree of freedom for energy-efficient, non-volatile memory and logic devices. In this research update, we review state-of-the-art developments new directions in charge- spin-based memory/logic with a focus on spintronics fascinating potential superconductivity boost transmission via spin-polarized quasiparticles or triplet Cooper pairs.
